Coal India Limited has launched a facility for candidates to view their responses and raise objections regarding the computer-based test for Management Trainee recruitment, held on August 24, 2026. This facility will be available from 10:00 AM on August 30, 2026, until 11:55 PM on September 3, 2026. Candidates can view their response sheets via their personal login and raise objections against the answers provided in the provisional answer key.

Coal India has clarified that objections will be accepted only through the designated online portal; objections submitted via any other mode will not be considered.

How to object?
Candidates can compare their recorded responses with the provisional answer key. If an answer to a question appears incorrect, a challenge can be raised following the prescribed procedure.

To do this, candidates must:

Log in to the portal using their personal login details.
View their response sheet.
Check the answers provided in the provisional answer key.
Raise online objections for questions deemed incorrect.
Complete the objection process within the stipulated timeframe.

Once the objection window closes, subject matter experts will review the challenges raised by candidates. Valid objections will be taken into account while preparing the final answer key, and candidates' final scores will be calculated based on this.

When will the Coal India Management Trainee result be declared?
The review of objections is expected to take place in the first week of September. Subsequently, the results of the Management Trainee written examination, the final scorecard, and the PDF merit list are likely to be released in the second week of September.

The merit list will include the roll numbers of candidates selected for the next stage of recruitment. Following the result declaration, selected candidates will be called for:
