During the “Yuva Samvad” program organized at Banbasa in Champawat district, the Chief Minister encouraged the local young talents who contributed in various fields like education, sports, social service, self-employment and environmental protection by giving them state honors. During the dialogue, in response to a question asked by student Milan Kalkhudia on the life journey of the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister shared his brief biography, education, youth and political journey experiences. Giving inspiration, he said that no person is great by birth, but becomes great by discharging his responsibilities with full responsibility and dedication. Student Preeti Pandey praised the anti-copying law and requested to set up a local examination center in Tanakpur. On this, the Chief Minister said that appropriate efforts will be made to establish an examination center in Tanakpur.

Responding to a question by student Rohit Sharma regarding anti-drug use, the Chief Minister underlined the resolve of a developed India by the year 2047, discussed the 'Drug Free Uttarakhand' campaign and called upon the youth to stay away from drugs themselves and inspire others. In response to a question asked by student Sumit Singh Nayak, the Chief Minister said that a state-of-the-art science center is being constructed in Champawat at a cost of Rs 56 crore, through which the youth will get knowledge of science and technology. He said that strict anti-copying laws have ensured transparency and so far more than 34,000 youth have got government jobs through a transparent process.

On the question asked by student Naman Puri regarding Youth Commission, the Chief Minister said that Youth Commission is being formed in the state, which will prove to be a milestone in connecting the young talents of the state with the right direction, guidance, employment and self-employment opportunities. The Chief Minister said that with the help of dedication and hard work even an ordinary person can reach the highest position. We have to make our life disciplined. Only adherence to discipline in life leads us to success.

Describing the 65 percent youth population of the country as the biggest power of the 21st century, the Chief Minister mentioned the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda and said that if given the right guidance, this youth power can change the scenario of the country. Reiterating his resolve without any option, the Chief Minister said that industrial parks are being established in districts like Almora, Chamoli and Pauri to stop migration from hilly areas in the state and to create employment at the local level. 'Youth Commission' is being formed for the all-round development of the youth, while through the country's strictest anti-copying law, more than 34,000 transparent and corruption-free appointments have been made so far.

The Chief Minister said that under the development of marginal areas, infrastructure like modern library, Government Polytechnic, Engineering College, Science Center and the first girls sports college of the state are being strengthened in Champawat. In the ceremony, the Chief Minister honored Himani Vishwakarma of Bastia, who was successful in NEET exam, Shweta Chand of Bichai, who received an annual package of Rs 47 lakh in Amazon, and Pawan Gadhkoti of Tanakpur, gold medalist in national para arm wrestling. Sandeep Rastogi of Banbasa, winner of state level efficiency award in sports and disabled welfare, free cow servant Pawan Mehta, director of de-addiction campaign Manish Singh and Ajanta Vijay, serving in the field of cleanliness and environmental protection, were also honored on the stage.

The Chief Minister also honored Kamal Giri of Champawat, who established self-employment through horticulture, Mount Everest winning mountaineer Virendra Singh Samant, folk culture and media influencer Tarun Bhatt and Arunima Rawat of Banbasa, who provided free training to girls for army and police recruitment, for their special services.
