Delhi: Indian cricketer and experienced Karnataka batsman Mayank Agarwal has joined the Durham team for the last four matches of the county season. Mayank will be seen playing there with team captain and England's star all-rounder Ben Stokes. Both players have previously played together for Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL.
Mayank Agarwal will replace South African player David Bedingham. He will be available for selection in the match against Northamptonshire from Wednesday.

Mayank Agarwal made a place in the Indian Test team on the 2018 Australia tour by consistently performing well in domestic cricket. 35-year-old Mayank has played 21 test matches for India so far, in which he has scored 1488 runs at an average of 41.33. During this period, he has also scored 4 centuries with his bat. Apart from this, he has also played 5 ODI matches for India.
Talking about his overall first class career, Mayank has scored 8,929 runs so far. Although he has not played any Test match for India in England, this will be his second season in county cricket. Before this, he had played the last three matches for Yorkshire in the last season.
