Our weekly Premier League Team of the Week returns with another edition. From eye-catching debutants to players already in blazing goalscoring touch, we have picked the standout XI from the second round of Premier League fixtures. So, who made the list?

Back-to-back clean sheets have capped a dream start to the season for Hull City and their new goalkeeper. The Greece international produced a superb low save to deny Taiwo Awoniyi in what proved to be the match-winning moment for The Tigers.

It has been an excellent beginning to his Newcastle career. Having registered two assists in the League Cup in midweek, Dedic impressed once again as the Magpies claimed victory at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Bosnian provided a brilliant outlet and created Anthony Elanga's opener after another adventurous burst forward, while also remaining strong defensively with five clearances, five recoveries and 4/5 ground duels won.

Mukiele made an immediate impact on his return to the Sunderland side with a series of important defensive actions as Regis Le Bris' team got their season up and running with a win. The Frenchman racked up a huge 14 clearances on the way to a clean sheet against Fulham and did not lose a single ground duel.

Back in his preferred centre-back role, Guehi looked composed on his return for Crystal Palace. He was assured in possession and led the match for touches with 124, while hardly putting a pass wrong at 98.2%. He also completed 7/8 long balls and was rarely tested defensively, winning every aerial duel he contested (3/3).

He justified Steven Gerrard's pre-match view that Liverpool should never have let him go. Williams was outstanding against his former club at Anfield, topping the game for duels won, tackles and chances created. A superb challenge prevented Florian Wirtz from scoring what looked a certain goal, before Williams burst in behind to win Forest a penalty for their second goal.

It was a highly impressive debut for the new arrival. Gonzalez got the better of former Newcastle favourite Sandro Tonali and demonstrated his quality with some outstanding long-range passing. His cross-field ball for Anthony Elanga's goal was exceptional.

Bruno Fernandes has had quite a week. Fresh from being named PFA Player of the Year, Fernandes inspired Manchester United to a 5-2 win over Ipswich at Old Trafford.

He responded to Ipswich's opener with a clinical finish to level the scores, then sent the towering Kjell Scherpen the wrong way from the penalty spot. Fernandes completed his hat-trick with a simple finish to round off an excellent afternoon.

Anthony Elanga looks transformed under Matthias Jaissle. After a difficult first season at Newcastle, in which he failed to score a single league goal, he has now become the first player to score in both of Newcastle United's opening two Premier League matches of a season since Alan Shearer in 2003/04.

There are few footballers more entertaining to watch than Rayan Cherki. The Frenchman delivered a sublime display as Manchester City cruised past Crystal Palace, scoring two brilliant goals at Selhurst Park.

His first goal was Cherki at his dazzling best, gliding past defenders with quick feet before applying a composed and classy finish.

Full credit for persistence goes to Joao Pedro, who missed a sitter, scored an own goal, and still walked off the Stamford Bridge pitch as the standout performer.

Pedro is playing the finest football of his career and made it goals in back-to-back matches with a calm finish, before celebrating in front of the Seagulls supporters. He led the contest for touches in the opposition box and duels won, while also providing an assist for Cole Palmer's clinching goal.

The league's top scorer is off the mark for the new campaign with two goals in Manchester City's 4-1 win at Crystal Palace.

The Norwegian climbed highest to meet Antoine Semenyo's cross and head in the opener, before wrapping up the victory with an emphatic fourth goal of the evening for the visitors.
