There is great news for young people aspiring to work in the country's public sector banks. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a notification for the recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II, III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose), announcing the application dates and other relevant details. According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment drive will begin tomorrow, September 1st. Online applications can be submitted starting tomorrow.
**Graduates Eligible to Participate**
Different educational qualifications have been prescribed for the various posts included in this recruitment. A bachelor's degree is mandatory for most posts under the IBPS RRB 2026 (15th edition) recruitment. Additionally, for certain posts, candidates are required to hold a degree in fields such as Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, or Engineering, or possess qualifications like CA, MBA, or a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Furthermore, the age limits are set as follows: 18 to 28 years for Office Assistant posts; 18 to 30 years for Officer Scale-I posts; 21 to 32 years for Senior Manager (Officer Scale-II) posts; and 21 to 40 years for Senior Manager (Scale-III) posts. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per the rules.
