Manchester United defender Leny Yoro (20) has reportedly emerged as a target for AC Milan, according to a report by Tuttosport.
The Lombardy club are looking to strengthen their defence and could use the final phase of the transfer window to launch an approach for the young centre-back. If the move gathers pace, it would likely carry the influence of super-agent Jorge Mendes, whose role could help smooth negotiations between the two clubs.
Yoro joined Manchester United from LOSC Lille for more than €60m two years ago. His first season at the club was significantly disrupted by a long-term ankle injury. During his second campaign at Old Trafford, the Saint-Maurice-born defender made 33 appearances in all competitions, including 18 starts, while also seeing an increase in his Premier League minutes.
After being named on the bench against Hull City last week, Yoro was introduced for only 16 minutes in Sunday’s second league game of the season.
