A sudden server malfunction occurred during the NEET PG examination at the Sitapura centre in Jaipur, causing significant difficulties for the candidates. Consequently, the conducting agency cancelled the exam at this centre.

Following reports of irregularities in several major national examinations, a case of negligence has now emerged regarding the NEET PG exam. A sudden server glitch at the Sitapura centre in Jaipur disrupted the proceedings, causing trouble for the candidates. Reports indicate that candidates exited the examination hall and raised slogans against the conducting agency. In light of the escalating situation, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) cancelled the exam.

The NBEMS has issued a notice announcing the new date for the examination. According to the notification, the re-examination at this centre will be held on September 5, starting at 3:00 PM. The NBEMS has also expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the candidates at the centre.

Server Issues Occurred Three Times in One Hour

Reports state that candidates faced server-related issues three times within a single hour during the NEET PG exam. Following these repeated glitches, students walked out of the examination centre and began protesting against the administration. The administration stated that the mass exit of students compromised the exam's confidentiality; as many students discussed the questions during this time, the transparency of the process was completely lost. Consequently, many students demanded the cancellation of the exam and a re-test.

Separate Admit Cards to be Issued

Meanwhile, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has cancelled the exam and announced a new date. The Board has decided to conduct the re-examination for the affected candidates in Jaipur on September 5 at 3:00 PM. The Board stated that further details, including the re-examination centre, will be released separately, and revised admit cards will also be issued.

Nationwide Examination

According to the NBEMS, the NEET-PG 2026 examination was conducted nationwide on August 30 across 1,111 centers for 273,096 registered candidates. Of these, 265,980 candidates appeared for the exam, and approximately 263,535 successfully completed it. The NBEMS stated that the examination could not be completed at the 'iON Digital Zone IDG Sitapura' center in Jaipur—specifically at TC numbers 41682 and 41683—due to a server outage caused by an internal technical issue.
