Vaibhav Suryavanshi got the captaincy

After some time, Ishaan's wrists were also bandaged. He was replaced by Kumar Kushagra. Vaibhav Suryavanshi took over as captain after Ishaan was out of the field. This was the first opportunity in his career. Vaibhav was earlier appointed as the vice-captain of the East Zone. After just nine first-class matches, Vaibhav was given the captaincy.
