Lucknow. UP's famous IAS officer Divya Mittal has resigned from the job. Presently she was holding the post of Special Secretary in the Revenue Department. He served as District Magistrate in Deoria, Mirzapur and Sant Kabir Nagar in a career spanning 13 years. Divya Mittal said that although her official post has ended, the dream given to her by the soil of the country will live on. Divya Mittal posted on social media platform Growing up in an ordinary environment, I dreamed of a good, successful life. After studying day and night from IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, I got a job in London. But even after achieving 'everything', something was still incomplete. I missed not being in my own country.

I was in debt to this soil

Divya Mittal further said that my education, self-confidence, the strength to walk with my head held high anywhere in the world, all I owed to this soil. That loan had to be repaid. I wanted my handprints to be on the bricks that would build the India that I had dreamed of. So she returned and got the privilege of becoming an IAS officer.

Recalling her deployment, Divya Mittal wrote that she got a chance to do a lot and learned a lot. Deoria taught that standing with what is right is not an option, it is a duty. Mirzapur taught that 'impossible' is not a fact, just an opinion. And sitting at the feet of Mother Vindhyavasini, he learned that power does not come from any position, but from her grace and the trust of the people. The biggest lesson was that the dreams seen for ourselves had been fulfilled, now we had to live the dreams seen for our people. The real peace of this life was visible in the eyes of the family who got the right to land for the first time, the disabled person who got the opportunity to live with dignity, and the farmer whose field got water. While accompanying them in their struggles, I learned that behind every government file there is a person and justice is to maintain his dignity.

People are more happy with my happiness than me

Divya Mittal further wrote that she was a fool to think that she had come to give something. The truth is that I was the one who got the most and that debt kept increasing. People became more happy with my happiness than me. He looked at me with the same faith even when I was tired or broken and this gave me the courage to keep moving forward. I received so much love, so much respect, so much affection, that my bag was completely filled and in this I also have a lot of credit for those colleagues, officers and employees who worked shoulder to shoulder with me and stood by me.

Mittal remembered an elderly woman from Lahuriya Deh village of Mirzapur. He said that today his eyes are moist with gratitude. Just one scene resides in them. That old mother from the hills of Lahuriya Dah, who did not say anything after seeing water reaching her village for the first time, just touched my head with trembling hands and blessed me. I may have lost my post today, but that touch will not be lost throughout my life. And I will not lose that dream which this soil of the country has given me.
