New Delhi. Industrialist Veermani, his associate Shanti and Shanti's husband Mahendra Chikkan have been arrested in the alleged sexual exploitation case with a minor girl. According to the police, on October 6, 2025, an unknown person in Chennai had handed over a pendrive with a complaint to a Chennai Police officer. It was said that there is a video in the pen drive, in which Industrialist Veermani is seen allegedly committing sexual offense with a minor girl in the bedroom of his colleague Shanti. After the complaint, when the pen drive was examined, an elderly man was found committing sexual offense with a minor girl.

Based on the complaint, the Central Crime Branch of Chennai Police registered a case. When the video was examined thoroughly, it was found that the person seen in the video is the famous industrialist Veermani. During investigation, the police found that a house was rented in Teynampet, where several minor girls were allegedly brought. Veermani had handed over the responsibility of looking after this house to her colleague Shanti and her husband Mahendra Chikkan. Sexual offenses were committed with many minor girls in this house. During the search of this house, many important documents and belongings of minor girls and women were also recovered.

The police have arrested all three accused. He was presented in the court. All three have been sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is going on in the matter.
