Former J&K Minister Ghulam Hassan Khan Dies After Prolonged Illness – Tezzbuzz

Srinagar, Aug 29: Former Jammu and Kashmir minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Ghulam Hassan Khan passed away in Shopian on Saturday following a prolonged illness, a family member said.
Khan had entered the J&K Legislative Assembly in 2002 and later served as Minister of State for Social Welfare. He subsequently left the PDP and contested the 2008 Assembly elections as an independent candidate.
His last rites will be performed at his ancestral graveyard in Shopian.
