Chasing a target of 145 runs set by Zimbabwe, South Africa reached the total with ease, losing only 3 wickets in 13.4 overs. Dewald Brevis played a stellar innings, remaining unbeaten with 75 runs.

South Africa's innings did not start on a high note. Jordan Hermann scored 20 runs off 13 balls, hitting 4 boundaries before being dismissed. Luan de Preteorius contributed 22 runs but fell to Brad Evans. Tony de Zorzi managed only 15 runs. However, Dewald Brevis continued his explosive batting from one end, completing his half-century in just 24 balls with a six.

The Zimbabwean bowling attack struggled against Brevis, who dominated the match with a spectacular performance. He faced 32 balls, scoring 75 runs, including 7 fours and 6 sixes. Rubin Hermann supported him well, remaining not out at 11 runs.

Zimbabwe, batting first after winning the toss, had a decent start. Brian Bennett and Ben Curran added 45 runs for the first wicket. Curran scored 24 runs, hitting 4 fours and a six before getting out. Bennett followed, scoring 34 runs off 35 balls with 4 fours and a six. Wesley Madhevere scored 12 runs off 14 balls, and Brad Evans returned to the pavilion with just 4 runs. However, Tadiwanashe Marumani played a crucial innings at the end, scoring 30 runs off 13 balls, including 1 four and 3 sixes. Thanks to Marumani's efforts, Zimbabwe finished their innings at 144 runs, losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Duane Janse van Rensburg was the standout bowler for South Africa, taking 3 wickets, while Prenelan Subrayen claimed 2 wickets for 27 runs. Ethan Bosch and captain Bjorn Fortuin each took one wicket.
