Delhi: Pakistan's batting is constantly under question during the England tour. The poor performance of Pakistani batsmen continued in the second Test being played at Lord's. In reply to England's 290 runs in the first innings, Pakistan team collapsed for just 110 runs. Seeing this performance, former England captain Michael Vaughan made fun of Pakistan's batting.

Vaughan lashed out at Pakistan's batting

Pakistan's innings ended in just 37.2 overs. Team captain Babar Azam also could not do anything special in batting. Apart from this, Imam-ul-Haq got injured and was out of the field. Vaughan strongly criticized this condition of Pakistan.

Vaughan said on BBC Test Match Special that England's bowlers are not getting any kind of challenge from Pakistan's batsmen. He said that it is very easy to bowl against the current batting lineup of Pakistan.

Vaughan said, “I will say it very clearly. England's bowlers are not getting any challenge at all. This batting lineup of Pakistan is probably the easiest batting lineup I have come across in a long time, which is so easy to bowl against. Not only this, I think all the bowlers are excited to bowl against Pakistan, because they know that there are going to be wickets here.”

England's grip stronger in the second test

England's first innings was reduced to just 290 runs. Pakistan had tightened its grip on the match. But England's bowlers broke Pakistan's back. Under the leadership of Ollie Robinson, England bowled out Pakistan for just 110 runs. Robinson took four wickets, Joffra Archer took three and Josh Tongue took two wickets. England took a lead of 180 runs in the first innings.

After this, by the end of the second day's play, England had scored 81 runs for three wickets in the second innings and their total lead was 261 runs. England still have wickets left. Now his focus will be on getting maximum leads. If England gets a lead of around 400, it will be almost impossible for Pakistan to win.
