Now, however, she can easily accomplish this task from the comfort of her home using the new app. The government has launched a new mobile app and web portal, enabling beneficiaries to update all their details easily from home. The government aims to make the Gruha Lakshmi Yojana even more accessible and transparent. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), which provides permanent housing to poor rural families, 3.91 crore houses have been sanctioned so far, with 3.06 crore houses already completed.
