BJP leader Sangeet Som has come to the rescue of Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav's statement on RLD Chief Jayant Choudhary regarding 'Chavni Ka Rupee'. Sangeet Som defended Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary and attacked the SP chief at an event in Meerut on Friday.

The leader whom the entire farmer class and people of 36 communities consider as their Messiah… today you have insulted him.
He said that Akhilesh Yadav out of anger has called Jayant Chaudhary 'Chavanni'. Sangeet Som said, 'Akhilesh Yadav ji… whom you called 'Chavanni', I say with assurance that he will not spare you even one anna in 2027.
While speaking from the stage at a program organized on the occasion of Rakshabandhan festival in Meerut, BJP's firebrand leader Sangeet Som made this statement while taking a dig at Akhilesh Yadav.
