As many as 13,119 candidates have been recommended for teacher recruitment through Maharashtra’s Pavitra Portal under TAIT 2025. The recommendations cover 19,754 non-interview vacancies across local bodies, government and private schools. Vacancies reserved for ex-servicemen, ST candidates and PESA areas remain unfilled and will be addressed in a converted round.
Mumbai, August 27, 2026: A total of 13,119 candidates have been recommended for teacher recruitment through the Pavitra Portal under the 2025 Teacher Aptitude and Intelligence Test (TAIT), stated the Maharashtra School Education Department on Thursday.
The merit list for the recruitment category involving selection without interviews was scheduled to be published at 7 pm on August 27. The recruitment covers schools run by local self-government bodies as well as private managements across Maharashtra.
TAIT 2025 Examination Details
The TAIT 2025 examination was conducted online from May 27 to June 5, 2025. Of the 2,28,808 candidates who registered for the examination, 2,11,308 appeared, while 1,70,108 candidates completed the self-certification process.
