The project will run from Aug. 31, 2026, to April 7, 2027, covering elevated access roads connecting the passenger terminal with Motorway No. 7, also known as the Bangkok-Chonburi route, The Nation Thailand reported.
The maintenance is aimed at improving road safety and keeping the airport’s access infrastructure in good condition. During the works, three lanes in affected sections will be closed, while two lanes will remain open through temporary traffic diversions, Bangkok Post reported.
Suvarnabhumi Airport has urged passengers to plan their trips in advance and leave additional time to reach the terminal to avoid missing flights.

Travelers may also consider using the Airport Rail Link as an alternative.
Traffic officers will be stationed throughout the affected areas, while warning signs will be installed around the work zones.
The airport said updates on the repair work and traffic diversions would be posted regularly on its Suvarnabhumi Airport Facebook page.
Suvarnabhumi Airport is the second biggest airport in Southeast Asia by land area, covering approximately 3,520 hectares (35.2 square kilometers), after Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The airport handles 190,000 passengers a day during peak tourist seasons, compared with about 140,000 to 150,000 during quieter periods.
