LPG Prices (August 26, 2026): There was no change in domestic LPG cylinder prices on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Commercial LPG Cylinder Becomes Cheaper

Rising LPG Imports from the US
India is now sourcing more LPG from the United States. A shift in LPG supply sources is being observed due to tensions in the Gulf region and risks associated with the Strait of Hormuz. According to data from Kpler, India imported approximately 0.89 million tonnes of LPG from the US in July. So far in August, around 0.62 million tonnes of LPG have arrived from the US. US gas reportedly accounts for about 73% of India's total LPG imports for August. Meanwhile, LPG supplies from the UAE and Qatar have declined. In August, approximately 140,000 tonnes of LPG were received from the UAE and about 60,000 tonnes from Qatar. No LPG was imported from Saudi Arabia during either July or August.
