Coventry City has completed the signing of defender Ethan Pinnock from Brentford on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old arrives at the club with significant top-flight experience, having spent the last seven seasons with Brentford, including five in the Premier League. He made 216 appearances for the Bees after joining them from Barnsley in 2019.
Pinnock’s career began in non-league football with Dulwich Hamlet, where he spent six years and helped the club earn promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2013.

He moved to Forest Green Rovers in 2016 and played a key role in its promotion to the EFL through the National League play-offs. His performances then earned him a move to Barnsley, where he made 67 appearances across two seasons.
At international level, Pinnock has represented Jamaica 28 times and has featured at both the Copa America and the Gold Cup.
The defender said he was excited to join Coventry as it prepares for life back in the Premier League after 25 years.
“I’m really excited to join Coventry City and continue my footballing journey with this great club,” Pinnock said.
He added that he was looking forward to representing the club at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
