Bilibili, a Chinese video-sharing platform challenging YouTube, is working to establish a foothold in the international market. It is also likely to launch in India. According to a new report, Bilibili is paying creators more than YouTube does.

This was revealed in an RT report, which states that Bilibili pays creators approximately $0.70 (around ₹60) per 1,000 views. This represents a significant move to attract creators for Bilibili as it attempts to challenge YouTube in the global market. However, the company has not officially confirmed this monetization figure.

**Bilibili's Reported Payout**
Based on the figures cited in the report, a creator could earn up to $700 (approximately ₹67,000) for 1 million views. However, this calculation excludes taxes and any platform fees or adjustments. It is worth noting that Bilibili's official creator program documentation does not specify a fixed CPM (Cost Per Mille/Cost per 1,000 views) or RPM.

In addition to advertising, the company is developing a marketplace to connect creators with brands for sponsorship opportunities. According to Bilibili's Creator Program policy, creators must have at least 100 subscribers and 2,000 valid public views before applying for monetization.

**Preparing for Global Expansion**
According to a Semafor report, Bilibili has relaunched its international app. The company is currently working on an English-language website and has begun hiring community managers in markets such as the US, Europe, Japan, and Latin America. While there is no information yet regarding a launch in India, the country represents a major market, so it will likely be a focus for the company; Bilibili may introduce the platform in India in the future. For now, Indian users also need to be wary of scammers. Bilibili has not yet launched in India; therefore, you should not download the app from any third-party website claiming to offer Bilibili.
