IND vs SL Colombo Test: On the fourth day of the Colombo Test, the host Sri Lankan team collapsed for 290 runs in its first innings. Host team batsman Sonal Dinusha struggled till the last minute and scored a century, but he could not save his team from the follow-on crisis. For India, Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar bowled best and took 3 wickets each. At the same time, India has completely controlled this match.

Sri Lanka managed one of its two targets on the fourth day – Dinusha completed a century, but could not save his team from the follow-on. India has implemented follow-on. Runs were scored quickly in that short period of time. Saransh was handed the bowling and after escaping the LBW decision, Dinusha took an aggressive approach at him. He quickly moved towards his century and completed it by hitting a four off Prasidh. But this gave Kumar a chance to play his shots and in this attempt he was out, giving Saransh his first Test wicket. The off-spinner was brought back from the other end and finished the innings with the wicket of Dinusha. India has a lead of 213 runs.
