The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandant (AC) written examination 2026. This exam was conducted on July 19, 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the written examination will now proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process. The results can be viewed on the UPSC website. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 349 vacancies across the BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB.

Check whether your roll number appears in the list.

What is the next stage of the selection process?
Candidates who have qualified in the written examination must now undergo the Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The physical test is conducted by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Candidates who succeed in the physical round will proceed to the medical examination and the personality test/interview.
Candidates who have qualified in the written examination are required to fill out and submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF) within 15 days. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their candidature, and they will not be permitted to appear for the PST/PET. The DAF can be obtained by visiting the Commission's online portal at upsconline.nic.in.
