UP News: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted Congress from Rae Bareli and alleged that Congress worked to divide the country and society. He said that Congress strangled the Constitution and adopted the policy of appeasement. Appealing to the state and countrymen to remain alert, the CM called for carrying forward the campaign of heritage and development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister had reached the program organized at Feroze Gandhi Degree College grounds on Monday. During this, before Rakshabandhan, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 346 development projects worth Rs 879 crore for Rae Bareli, Bachhrawan and Harchandpur assembly constituencies. CM Yogi said that Rakshabandhan has been started from the kitchens and a new scheme for mothers will be announced on August 26.
Congress targeted over the poor condition of Rae Bareli
CM Yogi said that earlier Rae Bareli was called VIP district and parliamentary constituency, but there was poor condition, anarchy and deprivation here. The poor did not get the benefits of government schemes. He referred to the statement of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, in which he had said that after sending one rupee, only 15 paise reaches the bottom. CM alleged that 85 people who ate the money were from SP and Congress.
The Chief Minister said that in the last 9 years the government has laid a network of housing, toilets and roads for the poor.
Counted achievements regarding modern coach factory
CM Yogi said that the modern coach factory of Rae Bareli was built in 2012, but till 2014, it was running at a slow pace like the development of Congress. Now this factory has become the identity of Rae Bareli. He said that last year the factory manufactured a record 2156 coaches. The roll out of Vande Bharat Trainshed also took place here for the first time in May 2026.
Attack on Rahul Gandhi and Congress State President
The Chief Minister also targeted Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi and Congress state president Ajay Rai. He said that Rahul Gandhi is working to instigate the youth and insult the heritage.
Referring to Ayodhya and Hanumangarhi, CM Yogi accused Congress of alleged double conduct. He said that Congress leaders behave differently after visiting the temple.
Rahul Gandhi cornered over Manusmriti statement
On Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Manusmriti, CM Yogi said that believing or not believing Manusmriti is a different matter, but wrong facts should not be stated. He said that Manu is mentioned in Atharvaveda, Shatapatha Brahmana, Mahabharata and Matsya Purana.
Referring to the Indian calendar, he mentioned the tradition of Nimesh, Kashtha, Kala, Muhurta, Ahoratra, Paksha, Month, Ayan and Varsha.
Rae Bareli-Amethi described as medium of vote bank
CM Yogi said that Rae Bareli and Amethi have been a medium for Rahul Gandhi to gain vote bank. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi criticizes Uttar Pradesh outside the state and India outside the country.
The Chief Minister said that the youth should not be misled and responsible leaders should behave responsibly.
A grand memorial will be built for Veera Pasi
CM Yogi said that a memorial has been built in the name of Rana Beni Madhav Baksh Singh. Now a grand memorial and statue of Veera Pasi will also be established.
He said that 16 crore people in the state are getting free ration and 10 crore people are getting health insurance cover of up to Rs 5 lakh. He also mentioned the government’s schemes for the nomadic snake charmer community.
Manoj Pandey was mentioned
The Chief Minister praised former SP MLA Manoj Pandey, saying that he expressed reverence for Lord Ram and went to Ayodhya for darshan. CM said that after this he had to suffer political loss.
CM Yogi said that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was known as a state of riots and curfew, but now the state has changed. He said that AIIMS is working in Rae Bareli and the district is getting a new identity due to the work of the double engine government. He accused Congress, SP and allies of harming the country’s security and identity.
