Yash’s much-awaited pan-Indian film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set to arrive in cinemas on August 26, the makers have made a special appeal to audiences. KVN Productions, which is backing director Geetu Mohandas’s film, has asked viewers not to record scenes inside theatres or upload them on social media, warning that spoilers could affect the experience for others.

The request comes just hours before the film’s theatrical release, as anticipation continues to build around Yash’s return to the big screen after the success of the KGF franchise.

KVN Productions Asks Fans To Protect The Theatrical Experience

In a statement shared across its social media platforms, the production house described the film as the result of years of work involving its technicians, artists and crew.

KVN Productions said, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is not just a film for us, it's years of heart poured into a world we built frame by frame, scene by scene, choice by choice. Every technician, artist, and crew member

The production house also thanked audiences for the response surrounding the film, particularly the strong interest reflected through advance bookings.

It said, "The love you've already shown this film, the excitement, the thunderous advance we've seen coming in, means more to us than words can carry. Thank you for your support throughout our journey."

The makers then made their appeal directly to moviegoers, asking them to let others experience the film without having key moments revealed online.

"There's one thing we sincerely request from you, let the experience unfold the way it was meant to. Don't record scenes from the movie in theatres and post them on social media, don't give away story beats and spoilers and ruin it for others. Let the next person walk into the world of Toxic exactly the way you did. #ToxicOn26thAug."

Toxic Advance Bookings Opened Ahead Of Release

Bookings for Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, which releases on August 26, opened on August 21.

Yash had announced the start of advance bookings on X, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the project.

He wrote, "A fairy tale isn't just what this film is. It's also what making it was. One string of thought, talent from everywhere, each doing right by their craft, avalanching into TOXIC. "Peculiar Alchemy," as our Director calls it. Five days to go. Book now."

Industry sources claimed the film had recorded a strong start with audiences, signalling the level of anticipation around Yash and the film’s unfamiliar cinematic world.

'Toxic' Cast Shares Excitement Over The Film

To mark the opening of bookings, the makers released a special video featuring Yash, Geetu Mohandas and members of the film’s ensemble cast.

Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair spoke about their experiences and shared their thoughts on what makes Toxic distinctive.

The cast also touched on the film’s unusual world and Mohandas’s unconventional filmmaking approach, giving audiences a sense of the enthusiasm surrounding the project before its theatrical arrival.
