Napoli have not eased their interest in Gabriel Jesus. Following the sale of Romelu Lukaku, the Azzurri want to provide Massimiliano Allegri with another high-level striker, although they must first create more space in the squad and generate funds. Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel that Napoli and Arsenal have recently resumed contact, and the Azzurri are now aware of all the conditions needed to sign the Brazilian on a permanent transfer.
What is still needed
Even so, Napoli still have to reach a final understanding with Gabriel Jesus over his contract and wages. Discussions with his representatives have not yet reached an advanced stage, and the forward also has other offers, even though he views Napoli as an attractive option. Napoli could complete the move at any time once the necessary departures in the attacking unit are finalised to make room, including those of Lorenzo Lucca and Noa Lang.
