Anupam Kher praised Yash's KGF journey after the two actors met at a studio, saying Yash did more than play Rocky by giving him “a soul” and swagger. Kher said their conversation covered cinema, life, parents, families, dreams and personal journeys. Calling younger actors' passion energising, he wished Yash's forthcoming film Toxic tremendous love and success.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher took to X on Monday to pen a long note for Yash as he met the Toxic actor. In his post, he wrote that it was a joy for him to meet Yash. Kher praised his performance in KGF: Chapter 1 and 2 and said that the South Indian actor 'gave the character a soul'. The veteran actor also wished Yash for his upcoming movie Toxic.

Kher tweeted, "MEETING YASH WAS A TOTAL JOY! It was a great joy to meet the phenomenon called Yash! I have loved his journey in KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2. He didn’t just play Rocky! He gave the character a soul, a swagger and an unforgettable place in Indian cinema. Behind that powerful screen presence, I discovered a warm, grounded and thoughtful human being. We met at a studio and spoke about cinema, life, parents, families, dreams and the journeys that shape us (sic)."

The Hum Aapka Hain Koun actor further wrote that whenever he meets young actors who are 'passionate and hungry' to create something extraordinary, he feels energised. Kher wrote, "Their fire inspires me to work harder, explore deeper and give my very best. Perhaps that is the beauty of cinema! We may belong to different generations, but our dreams speak the same language (sic)."
