Gonda. The troubles of Mukesh Srivastava, former MLA from Payagpur, Bahraich, are increasing continuously. Ayodhya Vigilance team raided the house of Mukesh and his brother Ajay Srivastava in Janakinagar of Gonda city on Monday morning. The eight-member team, which arrived in three vehicles, entered the house at around eight in the morning. This action was kept completely confidential.

It is being told that the cases registered against Mukesh Srivastava and his brother Ajay Srivastava are in connection with the investigation of disproportionate assets and NRHM scam. However, no information regarding this has been shared by the Vigilance team.
Let us tell you that the crackdown is continuously being tightened against Mukesh and his brother Ajay Srivastava. On August 20 also, Ayodhya Vigilance team had raided. After this the house was sealed. A notice was also pasted in which it was said that action would be taken again. After this notice, the vigilance team again reached the house on Monday and started investigation. It is being said that, during the previous action, Vigilance had found important documents to properties worth crores of rupees. Now the team has again reached inside the house to check those documents and other records.
Let us tell you that former MLA Mukesh Srivastava was arrested last June. Since then Mukesh Srivastava is in jail. At the same time, it has come to light that a case has been registered in Vigilance against his brother Ajay Srivastava, who is said to be posted as a clerk in the Barabanki Health Department, regarding disproportionate assets.
