According to reports, a candidate in 2025 had claimed admission under the PwD quota citing hearing impairment. However, upon being informed about the requirement for an audiometry test, the candidate did not proceed further with the admission process. The UDID framework covers several categories, including visual impairment, hearing impairment, locomotor disability, and speech and language disabilities. The college states that this verification process ensures that only eligible candidates can avail the benefits of reservation.
