Uttar Pradesh government cabinet minister and SubhaSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has hit back sharply at Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav’s tweet regarding seat sharing in the NDA.
Politics of UP: The war of words between Samajwadi Party and SubhaSP has intensified in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Om Prakash Rajbhar, cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and head of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhashpa), has made a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav. Rajbhar, while reacting to Akhilesh Yadav’s comment regarding seat sharing in NDA, commented on him losing his mental balance and being in depression.
After Rajbhar’s statement, there are signs of intensification of political rhetoric once again in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. However, there has been no immediate reaction from Akhilesh Yadav on Rajbhar’s statement.
Rajbhar’s counterattack on Akhilesh Yadav’s post
The matter is to the social media post of Akhilesh Yadav, in which he took a jibe at the possible seat sharing of NDA. In his post, Akhilesh had mentioned the figures regarding seat distribution among NDA allies. Responding to this post, Om Prakash Rajbhar targeted Akhilesh Yadav. He alleged that the SP President, considering himself the national president of the NDA, has started distributing seats among its allies.
Rajbhar sarcastically said that Akhilesh Yadav might have met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also claimed that Akhilesh had given different seat figures for NDA allies on different occasions.
‘Becoming the owner of NDA, they started distributing seats’
Om Prakash Rajbhar said that one day Akhilesh Yadav gave the figure of 73 seats for Rashtriya Lok Dal and 39 seats for SubhaSP, while later the number was changed to three seats. Rajbhar took a dig at the SP chief regarding this. He alleged that as soon as Akhilesh Yadav’s name comes up, political rhetoric about him intensifies. Sharp statements have already been seen between Rajbhar and Akhilesh Yadav on many issues in the politics of Uttar Pradesh.
However, Akhilesh Yadav’s comment regarding seat sharing was in the form of political sarcasm and the statement does not establish that any such official seat sharing formula has been declared by the NDA.
Ramdev’s agitation statement also targeted
Om Prakash Rajbhar also reacted to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s statement warning of a movement against corruption. Rajbhar made a sharp personal attack on Ramdev by referring to his earlier days associated with the Anna Hazare movement. Rajbhar alleged that Ramdev had left the place at the time of police action during Anna Hazare’s movement. He also raised questions about Ramdev’s activities and his warning against the movement.
This comment of Rajbhar has become a topic of discussion in political circles. It is clear from his statement that the process of political allegations and counter-allegations continues between the government and the opposition on issues like corruption and agitation.
Increased security of many leaders including Akhilesh, Mayawati
Meanwhile, the issue of increasing the security of many prominent leaders in Uttar Pradesh has also come to the fore. According to the report, 52 leaders including Akhilesh Yadav, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati have been included in the list of those given security or security arrangements have been increased. Regarding security, Rajbhar said that he too has got security. According to him, security has been provided to the leaders who have been considered a threat on the basis of intelligence reports. He said that it includes leaders from both the ruling party and the opposition.
