AISF Mumbai alleged its members were denied entry to a Mumbai Public School in Parel while conducting a social audit of infrastructure and facilities. The group said the school gate was closed and police were called instead of holding discussions. CJP issued a notice citing education and transparency laws, demanding public access to school accountability processes.

Mumbai: The All India Students' Federation (AISF) on Friday alleged that its members were denied entry to a BMC school in Parel, while attempting to conduct a social audit of the school’s infrastructure and facilities. The AISF campaign is part of the 'School Thik karo' drive launched by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).

The students' body further alleged that the school administration called the police instead of engaging with them. It said that it would meet the Assistant BMC Commissioner concerned today to seek permission for a “public social audit” of civic schools.

The students then sat “peacefully” outside the school and sought a meeting with the principal.
