CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke warned of a Jaipur protest after activists allegedly faced opposition during a government school inspection. He gave authorities 48 hours to begin repairs and arrest those accused of attacking workers. The warning comes amid the outfit’s School Thik Karo campaign highlighting alleged infrastructure issues.
After its agitation at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is now eyeing Jaipur as its next protest destination. The outfit's founder and convenor, Abhijeet Dipke, on Friday gave the authorities a 48-hour deadline to begin repairs at a school and arrest those who allegedly attacked CJP activists.
The warning came after CJP activists, including co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka, were confronted by locals while trying to visit a primary school in Rampura-Kanwarpura village in Jaipur district. Dipke said he would travel to Jaipur and sit on a dharna outside the school if the authorities failed to act within the deadline.
48-hour ultimatum
"I will go to Jaipur if the school repair work doesn't begin and the BJP goons are not arrested within the next 48 hours," Dipke said in a video message. He also called on others to join the protest if the demands were not met.
