Let us tell you that this statement of Mr. Yadav came after the allegations of Amroha SP worker Digvijay Bhati. Digvijay Bhati claimed that he was assaulted after participating in a protest against the murder of a Dalit girl in Meerut. Akhilesh Yadav shared a picture of injured Digvijay Bhati on social media platform 'X', in which his eye is seen badly swollen.

Akhilesh Yadav said that insulting a farmer is an insult to the country. He alleged that BJP has committed the unforgivable act of threatening farmers across the country by kicking a farmer in the face. The torture by the Bhajra government of Uttar Pradesh on the farmer leaders by beating them to the third degree in the police station shows how terrified they are due to the fear of defeat. The shield which the BJP wanted to stand with the farmers as a shield has also proved to be a wax shield due to the following reasons, due to the fire of farmers' anger.

Digvijay Bhati alleged that around August 19, the then SSP of Meerut, Avinash Pandey, assaulted him for participating in the protest. He claimed that members of the Special Operations Group (SOG) took him to an undisclosed location, where they allegedly beat him up for several hours.

The matter is being investigated

Akhilesh lashed out at Yogi government

In his post, Akhilesh Yadav also accused the BJP government of compromising the interests of farmers. He claimed that the BJP government is entering into agreements with foreign institutions to hand over farming, storage and trade and marketing of seeds, fertilizers and agricultural produce to a few people. He also accused them of not accepting farmers' demand for Minimum Support Price (MSP), going back on purchase promises and forcing farmers to stand in long queues for fertiliser.

Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the BJP government wanted to capture the property of farmers through land acquisition and three agricultural laws. He also mentioned the death of more than 700 farmers during the farmers' movement and alleged that the government did not even express condolences on farmer suicides. Besides, he also alleged that clean chit was given to the government's associates accused of crushing farmers with vehicles.
