The market of smart glasses is continuously growing and now Rollme has launched its new View Series AI Smart Glasses. The company has introduced two models named AuraView and ProView in this series. The special thing about these smart glasses is that they come with camera, open-ear audio and many AI features. The company has priced them at $99.99, which makes them an interesting option in the budget segment.

Will be able to record photos and videos with 12MP Sony camera
Rollme View Series smart glasses have a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor. This camera is installed in the frame of the glasses, with the help of which users can record photos and videos from its first-person view. The physical button given on the glasses can be used to click the photo. According to the company, the camera can capture a photo in about 0.6 seconds.

At the same time, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) is supported during video recording, which will help in keeping the recorded footage more stable while moving. Captured photos and videos can be saved in the glasses’ 4GB internal storage and later transferred to the smartphone.

Object Recognition and Live Translation from AI
The most special features of Rollme View Series include its AI features. The smart glasses have a dual-chip setup, which powers the in-built voice assistant. According to the company, its AI assistant is supported by AI models like ChatGPT.

Users can ask general questions to Glasses’ AI assistant. Additionally, it is capable of identifying nearby objects and landmarks, translating printed text, and performing real-time translation during live conversations.

Open-Ear Audio and Bluetooth 5.4
For audio, directional speakers are provided in both the arms of the glasses. These allow you to listen to music and make phone calls while remaining just outside the ear, while the user can still hear surrounding sounds. Rollme claims that its design reduces audio leakage, so that people nearby will not easily hear your call or music. For connectivity, it has support for Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6.

280mAh battery, up to 12 hours backup
Rollme View Series smart glasses have a 280mAh battery, which can be charged through a magnetic cable. The company claims that once fully charged, the glasses can last for about 10 to 12 hours. However, continuous use of features like video recording or AI translation can drain the battery quickly.

Launched in AuraView and ProView design
Rollme has introduced the View Series in two different designs. AuraView has a metal half-rim frame and brown lenses. At the same time, ProView has a full-rim plastic frame and both tinted and clear lenses are available with it. Both models can be purchased on the company’s website for a starting price of $99.99.
