Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso has said the club are handling different sets of players well in training as they build up to the start of the Premier League season.
Liam Delap, Tosin and Nicolas Jackson are among those who have been working in a separate group from the main squad under Alonso.
“No, we are managing well with group dynamics,” Alonso explained.
“Whenever we need, we have different groups, so it’s not been an issue at the moment.”
Alonso also played down any doubt over Enzo Fernandez’s future, saying the midfielder remains completely focused on Chelsea’s season.
“Enzo is a Chelsea player. He’s a top, top player,” Alonso added.
“He’s training really well since he started 10 days ago with the team, very integrated. We are happy with him and he’s getting ready for Monday.
“He’s training really well and I see him with a really good attitude and that’s what we want. Everyone is trying their best to prepare for the kick-off of the Premier League.”
