Technology Desk: iQOO has launched its new mid-range smartphone iQOO Z11S in China. The biggest feature of the phone is its large 10,000mAh battery. With such a big battery, the company has kept the thickness of the phone's body at 8.59mm. Apart from this, the phone has an AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset and 50 megapixel rear camera.
This smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It has support for 44W wired fast charging. The phone has also received IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection. At present, the company has launched it in China and has not given any official information regarding its availability outside China.
iQOO Z11S price
In China, the base model of iQOO Z11S with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage has been priced at CNY 1,999. Its price in Indian currency is around Rs 20,400. The price of other variants of the phone is as follows:
8GB + 128GB: CNY 1,999, around Rs 20,400
8GB + 256GB: CNY 2,199, around Rs 31,200
12GB + 256GB: CNY 2,499, around Rs 35,500
12GB + 512GB: CNY 2,899, around Rs 41,200
iQOO Z11S has been introduced in China in Snow White, Dark Rock Black and Floating Light colors. The phone can be purchased from Vivo China's e-store.
6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display
iQOO Z11S has a 6.83 inch AMOLED display. The resolution of the screen is 2800×1260 pixels. Its refresh rate is 144Hz, due to which scrolling and animations can appear smoother than before. During gaming, the touch sampling rate of the phone can reach up to 300Hz in some supported games. This helps in responding faster to screen touch.
HDR and P3 wide color gamut is supported in the display. Apart from this, full-brightness DC dimming is also present. The full-screen brightness of the screen is up to 2,000 nits. To protect eyes, it has been provided with low blue light and low flicker features. The display has also received SGS certification for these features.
MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor
For performance, MediaTek Dimensity 7500 full-power version chipset has been used in iQOO Z11S. It has been prepared on 4nm process. For graphics, it has Mali G625 GPU.
The phone has a maximum of 12GB LPDDR4X dual-channel RAM. UFS 3.1 technology has been used for storage. According to different variants, the option of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage is available. Talking about software, the smartphone works on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
50MP rear camera
For photography, a 50-megapixel camera has been provided at the back of iQOO Z11S. It has support for f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. The rear camera supports 10x digital zoom. With this, video recording can be done up to 4K resolution.
An 8-megapixel camera is provided on the front of the phone for selfie and video calling. It has f/2.05 aperture. The front camera supports full-focus operation and can record videos up to 1080p.
10,000mAh battery
The phone has a 10,000mAh battery. This is one of the major features of iQOO Z11S. With such a big battery, the company has kept the body of the phone thin to 8.59mm. To charge the battery, 44W wired fast charging is supported in the smartphone. It has a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
Connectivity from 5G to Wi-Fi 6
In terms of connectivity, iQOO Z11S supports 5G and 4G networks. The phone has Wi-Fi 6, which works on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Apart from this, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and OTG is supported in the smartphone. USB Type-C port is also present in the phone.
Fingerprint sensor and face unlock
For security, iQOO Z11S has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. That means the fingerprint sensor is found inside the screen itself. Apart from this, the option of facial recognition is also provided in the phone, with the help of which the user can unlock the phone through the face.
IP68 and IP69 ratings
iQOO Z11S has received IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. This gives the phone better protection from everyday contact with dust and water. The phone has a plastic mid-frame and composite back panel. Its size is 163.90×76.50×8.59mm and weight is about 225 grams.
