Take these precautions before going to the bathroom

There is a danger of a snake entering the house through the toilet or drain. To be safe, pour or flush water into the commode and be sure to check dark corners of the bathroom.
If there is a snake in a closed room, do not take it out forcibly. Burning cotton cloth, cow dung cakes or onion-garlic peels and inhaling smoke can cause the snake to come out due to suffocation.

Beware of Common Krait

The snake that needs to be most cautious during the rainy season is the 'Common Krait'. This snake with dark black color and thin white stripes on its body is very active at night. The scariest thing about it is that its bite is almost painless, due to which a person does not even feel it while sleeping. This creature, which remains hidden throughout the day, often enters the beds of people sleeping on the ground at night. Therefore, during the rainy season, always avoid sleeping on the floor, use a bed and use a mosquito net while sleeping.

Poisonous guests will stay away from the pungent smell of phenyl

The sense of smell of snakes is very strong. They cannot tolerate the smell of phenyl or other pungent smelling chemicals. Regularly applying black phenyl mop during house cleaning and spraying phenyl water near the balcony, main door or drainage pipe deters snakes from entering the boundary of your house. To prevent snakes from being attracted towards the house, it is first necessary to drive away their food i.e. rats from the house. Immediately seal the cracks and holes in the wall and foundation with cement. Do not allow bushes and garbage to accumulate around the house. Before wearing shoes and slippers kept outside at night, dust them thoroughly and continue to use strong smelling substances like phenyl at the entrances of the house.
