The South Korean actress Go Ara has become the centre of fresh dating rumours with BTS member Suga. The rumours began after netizens saw social media posts linked to both stars seemingly showing them in Barcelona on the same day, with the Sagrada Familia appearing in their individual posts. Followers have also pointed out alleged similarities between their wardrobes and accessories. However, there's currently no confirmed evidence that Min Yoongi aka Suga, and Go Ara are dating, as neither of the stars has publicly addressed the speculation. Even though Go Ara is a popular actress, many global fans continue to remain curious about her.

Some of her notable dramas include Reply 1994, You're All Surrounded, Black, Ms Hammurabi, Haechi and Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol. She also appeared in the movies Pacemaker, Papa, The Magician, Phantom Detective and The Childe.

 

Most recently, she played Princess Hwari in the 2025 web series The Scandal of Chunhwa.

She has starred in various roles over the years in romance, comedy, historical dramas and thrillers, becoming a familiar face in the Korean entertainment industry.

Go Ara is particularly known among BTS fans for her role in the 2016 historical drama, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. The series starred her opposite Park Seo-joon and Park Hyung-sik and was also the acting debut of BTS member Kim Taehyung aka V. Go Ara played Ah-ro and V played Han Sung, one of the young Hwarang warriors. The two even shared many scenes in the drama, and their behind-the-scenes photos prove they shared a happy and amicable rapport on set.

But her working relationship with V is separate from the current speculation surrounding Suga. There are no known interactions between Go Ara and Suga in public that indicate any romantic connection between the two.

Much of the latest dating speculation comes from posts Barcelona made on social media. Reports say that Suga and Go Ara's posts were dated July 2. Some fans speculated that the coincidence might indicate that the two visited the landmark together. Some have even pointed out similarities in their clothing and accessories, calling these details potential "clues" to a relationship.

But these are circumstantial observations. There are no verifiable photos of Suga and Go Ara in Barcelona together, and visiting the same popular tourist attraction on the same day doesn't prove they were traveling together.
