Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to bring in more than one forward before the summer transfer window shuts.

The north London club have already spent over £200m on six new signings, breaking their transfer record on two occasions, but they are still planning to invest significantly.

Manchester City winger Savinho is among Tottenham’s leading targets, with Spurs keen to sign two wide players as well as a number nine before the deadline. City are prepared to let Savinho leave if their valuation, said to be around £70m, is matched.

Spurs are also interested in Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo and are waiting to see how Liverpool’s move for Paris Saint-Germain duo Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye develops. Liverpool would be open to considering bids for Gakpo if those transfers are completed.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham are also keeping tabs on Chelsea winger Pedro Neto and Manchester City striker Omar Marmoush.

Marmoush is understood to want to leave the Etihad after finding game time hard to come by, and he is regarded as a forward who can ‘link up the entire frontline’. City would want to secure a replacement before sanctioning any sale.

Chelsea are ready to listen to offers for Neto in the region of £60m. Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal are trying to strike a deal for the Portugal international.
