The race for undergraduate admissions at Delhi University for the 2026-27 academic session is ongoing. Opportunities for female students to secure admission—both in regular colleges and the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB)—have now diminished. Following three rounds of admissions based on previous cut-offs, NCWEB released a 'special cut-off' on Monday. This special cut-off is intended for students who were unable to secure admission during the earlier rounds. Eligible students can complete their admission process between August 18 and August 20.

**13,300 Admissions Completed After Third Cut-off**
Out of the total 15,200 seats available across NCWEB's two undergraduate programs—BA and B.Com—13,300 admissions have already been finalized following the third cut-off. Consequently, the scope for further admissions has narrowed. Seats for General category students are particularly scarce across the various subject combinations offered in the BA program.

However, for the B.Com program, admission opportunities for General category students still exist at 10 of NCWEB's 26 college centers. At Aditi College and Bhagini Nivedita College, admission to the B.Com program will be granted at a 40% marks threshold across General, OBC, SC/ST, EWS, and PwD categories.

In this program, there are greater opportunities for students belonging to OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwD categories compared to the General category. Conversely, opportunities for General category students in the BA (History-Political Science) program are extremely limited; only a few seats remain vacant across seven college centers. Where seats are available, admission will be granted based on marks ranging from 46% to 71%.

**IPU Open House Counseling on August 20**
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) will conduct open house counseling for admission to its 'Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counseling' program on August 20 at its Dwarka campus. Candidates will be allotted seats based on merit following the verification of necessary documents on the same day. On the day of counseling, candidates must bring a bank draft of ₹60,000 payable to the University Registrar, four passport-sized photographs, the CET admit card and rank card, the filled-out online form, and proof of date of birth. This program is offered at the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, an institute affiliated with the university; out of a total of fifty seats, four are currently vacant.
