Lucknow. In UP T-20 League Season-4, Lucknow Falcons registered their first win in the tournament by defeating Noida Kings by three wickets in a thrilling match. In the match played late on Monday night at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow achieved the target of 137 runs by losing seven wickets in 19.2 overs.

Bowler Abhinandan Singh played an important role in Lucknow's victory. He bowled lethally and took four wickets and was adjudged man of the match. While chasing the target, wicketkeeper batsman Aaradhya Yadav played a useful half-century innings of 51 runs, while Sameer Chaudhary scored unbeaten 28 runs to take the team to victory.

Noida's innings faltered due to Abhinandan's bowling

After winning the toss, Lucknow Falcons captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar decided to bowl first. Noida Kings started well by adding 34 runs, but after that the Lucknow bowlers changed the course of the match.

In front of the accurate bowling of Abhinandan Singh and Navneet Kumar, Noida lost five wickets for 48 runs in the powerplay itself.

Shiva Singh scored 22 runs in the middle order. After this, Bobby Yadav played an inning of 29 runs and Karthik Sidhu played an inning of 23 runs. Both of them tried to handle Noida's innings by making an important partnership of 49 runs for the eighth wicket.

However, Lucknow bowlers took wickets at regular intervals and reduced Noida Kings to 136 runs in 19.5 overs. For Lucknow, Abhinandan Singh took four wickets and Navneet Kumar took three wickets.

Aaradhya Yadav took over the innings of Lucknow

The start of Lucknow Falcons chasing the target of 137 runs was also not as expected. The team lost two wickets for 41 runs.

After this Aaradhya Yadav took charge. He scored 51 runs in 42 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes and took the team towards the target.

On the other hand, Noida Kings fast bowler Shubham Gautam bowled brilliantly and took three wickets for just 22 runs in four overs. Lucknow team came under pressure due to his bowling.
