The online application process for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET 2026), conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), has commenced today, August 17. Candidates aspiring to become government teachers and preparing for this exam can submit their applications online until the deadline of August 31, 2026.
**Check Eligibility Before Applying**
To appear for the Bihar STET 2026 exam, candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, they must possess a B.Ed., M.Ed., B.A.-B.Ed., or B.Sc.-B.Ed. degree (or equivalent) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Furthermore, the minimum age for candidates is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per the rules. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
**Application Fee**
Candidates belonging to the General, BC, and EWS categories must pay an application fee of ₹960 for a single paper and ₹1,440 for both papers. Candidates from the SC, ST, and PH categories are required to pay ₹760 for a single paper and ₹1,140 for both papers. The application fee can be paid online.

After registering, click on the "Click here" link next to "Already registered? To login" and fill in the remaining details to complete the form. After uploading the photograph and signature, pay the fee according to the paper and category.
Finally, submit the form, take a printout, and keep it safe.
