Hong Kong, the world’s second-most visited city for international arrivals after Bangkok, received 31.22 million visitors in the first seven months of the year, up 12% from the same period last year, driven by strong international connectivity and a packed schedule of mega events.
Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po said Hong Kong has long been a preferred destination for major exhibitions and conventions, partly because of its extensive international transport links, China Daily reported.
Around 140 airlines connect the special administrative region with more than 225 destinations worldwide, offering travelers a wide range of direct and connecting flight options.
