Leaks regarding the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 link it to the SM8950, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro to the SM8975. At this time, there is no official word regarding the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6, and current reports indicate that Qualcomm’s next premium lineup may focus on the Elite models.

Popular technology tipster Digital Chat Station took to his Weibo account to share details on the AnTuTu benchmark of this upcoming processor. From the screenshot he shared, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is reportedly shown with a benchmark score of 4,835,412. However, this result could not be independently verified through AnTuTu’s publicly accessible information.

The Coming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro Is Reportedly A Top Performer

This coming processor will reportedly succeed the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which powers flagship devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Qualcomm officially identifies the current platform as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy variant, rather than “Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Pro.”

The existing flagship processor from Snapdragon has recorded AnTuTu results in the roughly 4-million-point range on some devices, although AnTuTu scores vary by handset, software, cooling, and benchmark version. From the leaked score of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, it would appear to outperform some Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 results, if the leaked figure is genuine and comparable.

A breakdown of the reported score reveals that it gets 1,368,930 points for the CPU and 1,854,826 points for the GPU, which is the reportedly associated Adreno 850 GPU. These individual benchmark figures could not be independently verified from an official AnTuTu database or Qualcomm source. This coming processor will reportedly use a 2nm fabrication process instead of the 3nm process used by the current Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Qualcomm has confirmed Snapdragon Summit 2026 for September 22–24 in Maui, Hawaii, but it has not officially announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro or confirmed its specifications or launch date. Reports therefore point to a possible September introduction, ahead of some Android flagship devices that are expected to use the chipset.

Devices Expected to Launch With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is expected to become the highest-end variant in Qualcomm’s rumored next flagship mobile chipset lineup. This means that it could be used on various flagship Android devices that launch later this year, as well as others that debut next year.

Reports have it that this processor might make its debut with the Xiaomi 18 series, which is expected to launch later in 2026. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has also been linked in separate reports to the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, although Xiaomi has not confirmed the chipset.

Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Ultra has also been linked in leaks to a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro for Galaxy chipset, but Samsung has not officially confirmed that information.

These devices could provide some of the first real-world opportunities to compare the performance of Qualcomm’s next flagship processor with competing smartphone chipsets.
