Inauguration of Amrit Udyan

If you like to enjoy different types of flowers, especially roses, then there is a good news for you. President Draupadi Murmu announced on Friday, August 14 that the Amrit Udyan located at Rashtrapati Bhavan will now be opened to the general public. Opening date of Amrit Udyan

According to the information, Amrit Udyan will be open to the public from 16 August 2026 to 15 September 2026. One can visit here from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, but the last entry will be till 5:00 pm only. Note that this garden will be closed every Monday due to maintenance.

Entry Gate and Ticket Booking

To enter Amrit Udyan, visitors have to reach Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan on North Avenue Road. To visit the garden, it is necessary to book tickets online through the Rashtrapati Bhavan website (visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in). Note that no fee will be charged for these tickets.

The booking slot for any day closes at 10:00 am on the previous day. For example, if you want to visit Amrit Udyan on 16th August, you must complete your booking before 10:00 am on 15th August. It is important that there is no on-the-spot or offline booking facility available to visit Amrit Udyan.

Features while traveling

Visitors coming to Amrit Udyan will be able to avail various facilities. Facilities like drinking water stalls, first aid centres, rain shelters and toilets are available here. Apart from this, shuttle bus service will also be available from Central Secretariat Metro Station.

There will be a banner of 'Shuttle to Amrit Udyan' on these buses. These shuttle buses will run every 30 minutes between Central Secretariat Metro Station and the entry point of Amrit Udyan from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. However, fee information for this service is not yet available.
