After extending benefits to government school teachers, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is now preparing to offer a significant boon to teachers working in private schools. Under this initiative, the government plans to provide private school teachers with the benefits of the cashless medical scheme—specifically, access to cashless medical treatment. To facilitate this, the government has sought data regarding the 35,000 private schools operating in the state. The Directorate has already circulated the relevant format to all districts.

Reports indicate that the scheme's benefits will extend to both private school teachers and their dependents. Sources within the Basic Education Department state that officials have been instructed to register teachers working in private schools.

**Registration Required on the Portal**
Teachers will need to register on the portal developed specifically for the cashless medical scheme. During registration, they must provide complete details regarding themselves and their dependents, ensuring the information matches their Aadhaar cards. The application will first be submitted to the school principal for verification and approval, after which it will be forwarded to the concerned Block Education Officer.

Ultimately, the District Basic Education Officer will grant final approval for the application. The scheme reportedly offers a teacher's family free medical treatment coverage of up to ₹5 lakh per year.

Additionally, significant news has emerged that the Yogi government is preparing to provide ₹1,200 each to 10 lakh students studying in government schools. These funds are intended for the purchase of uniforms and shoes and will be transferred directly to the parents' accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
