However, being forced to pause has changed her perspective. She now feels that endlessly chasing work can be just as overwhelming. Rashmika also thanked everyone for their love, support, positivity, and prayers.
Rashmika Mandanna Opens Up About Slowing Down During Hip Injury Recovery
On August 13, Rashmika Mandanna shared on Instagram that she is enjoying her time at home while recovering from a hip bone injury. The actress has been resting, taking care of herself, solving puzzles, reading books, watching shows, and spending precious moments with her husband Vijay Deverakonda, family members, and her beloved fur baby, Aura, making recovery feel calm, comforting, and meaningful every single day.
Rashmika said her injury has changed the way she looks at life. Earlier, slowing down felt frightening because work kept her constantly occupied. But this unexpected break has helped her understand that nonstop hustling and always staying busy can become exhausting and overwhelming too, over time. “It’s amazing how when you are hustling your days away the other side which is ‘slowing down’ seems scary but when you are pushed into ‘slowing down’ – the hustling like a crazy person now seems scary.. maybe that’s what is life..,” she penned.
The Cocktail 2 actress thanked everyone for the love, support, and positivity she received throughout her recovery journey and healing. “Being engulfed in so much love and surrounded with so much positive prayers and gratitude,” Rashmika added.

Earlier, Rashmika shared details of her recovery routine, saying her days now revolve around sleep, healing, puzzles, reading, watching shows, skincare, hair care, meetings, and spending time with family. She also revealed she has finally been revisiting her wedding photos and videos, which she had not properly looked through because of her busy schedule.
Rashmika Mandanna Suffers Hip Injury
Rashmika recently revealed that she suffered a severe right hip tendon detachment while filming an intense dance sequence for her upcoming movie Mysaa. This is her third consecutive injury setback in recent months. Doctors have advised her to take complete rest for six weeks, followed by a carefully planned rehabilitation programme. As a result, her busy shooting schedules have been temporarily paused, and the actress is now concentrating fully on recovery and proper healing.

On her professional front, apart from Mysaa, the actress has Ranabaali and is reportedly set to star in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming Raaka, along with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated Animal Park next.
