The registration process for the ICSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations (2028) has commenced. Registration for these exams will be conducted via the CISCE CAREERS portal through schools affiliated with the CISCE.

ICSE-ISC 2028 Registration: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has initiated the registration process for the ICSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations scheduled for 2028. Students cannot register themselves directly; registration will be carried out through their respective CISCE-affiliated schools via the CISCE CAREERS portal. The board has issued separate timelines for both ICSE and ISC. Additionally, CISCE has started the process of confirming entries for students already registered for the 2027 ICSE and ISC board exams. Schools can log in to the portal to verify student details and, if necessary, request changes to the information by submitting the required documents.

ICSE 2028 Registration Deadline

The registration process for the ICSE Class 10 examination (2028) began on August 5, 2026. The deadline for registration without a late fee is October 31, 2026. Subsequently, registration with a late fee will be permitted from November 1 to November 15, 2026.

Registration Begins for ISC 2028 as Well

Registration for the ISC Class 12 examination (2028) also commenced on August 5, 2026. The registration window for ISC will remain open until November 15, 2026, meaning the deadline for registration without a late fee is November 15.

Students Cannot Register Themselves

Students do not have the option to apply directly on the CISCE portal for the ICSE and ISC 2028 examinations. The entire registration process will be completed through schools affiliated with the CISCE. Schools will enter the necessary registration details on the CISCE Career Portal. Students are required to share information regarding their personal details, subjects, and essential documents with their schools. Students are also advised to thoroughly verify their details before the registration is submitted.

Confirmation of Entry for 2027 Board Exams Also Required

Along with the registration for 2028, CISCE has initiated the entry confirmation process for the 2027 ICSE and ISC board examinations. Schools can visit the portal to review and confirm previously submitted registration details. The entry confirmation process for the 2027 examinations can be completed without a late fee between August 5 and September 15, 2026. Subsequently, confirmation with a late fee will be possible from September 16 to September 30, 2026.
