To lose weight, people often resort to hours of exercise and strict diets. But Vivek Rajput’s story is a little different. He limited his eating times and adopted intermittent fasting for about six months. As a result, his weight dropped from 83 kg to 64 kg, meaning he lost 19 kg.
According to Rajput, his day began with black coffee in the morning and then went to the gym on an empty stomach. He had his first meal around 2 p.m., and his last meal by 8 p.m. This meant he set aside about six hours for eating. Rajput claimed that this change not only resulted in weight loss but also improved health parameters like cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure.
Did you lose 19 kg from the gym on an empty stomach?
Rajput shared his daily routine on Instagram on August 5th, revealing that he hasn’t eaten breakfast in the past six months. He starts his day with black coffee around 7 a.m., then heads to the gym on an empty stomach. He says this routine helps him feel more energized and makes it easier to manage his hunger. He then has his first meal around 2 p.m.
Did a 6-hour eating window help you lose 19 kilos?
The most important aspect of Rajput’s diet is his limited eating window. He consumes all his food within about six hours, with his first meal at 2 pm and his last meal by 8 pm. He also described his first meal. It consisted of about 100 grams of rice, 100 grams of paneer, corn and peas, homemade potato-soybean curry, bitter gourd, and salad.
Did cholesterol and BP also get controlled along with weight?
Rajput reported that along with his weight loss, some of his health parameters also changed significantly. According to him, his triglycerides dropped from 280 to 90, while his total cholesterol dropped from 200 to 148. Testosterone increased from 290 to 607, and his high blood pressure also returned to the normal range. He also claimed that his fatty liver returned to normal.
Is intermittent fasting right for everyone?
Rajput’s experience reflects his personal health journey. Intermittent fasting and skipping breakfast are not necessarily suitable for everyone. Their effects may vary depending on age, health, medications, work schedule, and nutritional needs. Therefore, it’s best to seek expert advice before embarking on any long-term diet or fasting routine.
