Manchester United are keen on signing Louis Page from Leicester City during the summer transfer window.

As per a report from the BBC, the club are working on a move for the 18-year-old midfielder, but they are expected to face serious competition from Arsenal and Aston Villa.

The England Under-20 international featured in Leicester City’s first team last season and is highly regarded across England. He is widely seen as a player who could develop into a top-class talent with the right coaching, and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United can complete the transfer.

The Foxes have been relegated from the Championship and are likely to lose several players this summer. Earlier, promising winger Jeremy Monga completed a move to Manchester City, and it now appears that Page could also be heading out of the club.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been labelled “one of the brightest talents” at Leicester City, and he could prove to be a valuable long-term addition for Manchester United. The club have a good record of developing young players, and they could also help the teenager realise his potential.

At the same time, Arsenal and Aston Villa are major clubs too, and both have an excellent history of nurturing young talent. It will be interesting to see whether either club can move ahead of Manchester United in the battle for his signature. Whichever side secures the gifted young midfielder could be landing an important asset for the future.

Page will want his future resolved soon so that he can concentrate fully on his football again. He needs to join a club that can offer a clear route for his development along with enough first-team opportunities.
