Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has reportedly been hospitalised after being diagnosed with dengue. The actress informed her fans about her health condition through social media and also shared a picture of herself from her hospital bed.

Swara Bhasker took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that her health situation had developed unexpectedly and progressed very quickly. Sharing an update with her followers, the actress said that things had “really escalated very quickly.” She added that she had contracted dengue and subsequently had to be admitted to the hospital.

Although Swara informed her fans about her diagnosis and hospitalisation, she has not yet shared many details about her condition. The actress has not revealed the specific symptoms she experienced or how long she is expected to remain under medical supervision. Her fans and well-wishers are now hoping for her speedy recovery.

Known for her performances in Hindi films, Swara Bhasker has appeared in several popular movies during her career. She gained widespread recognition for her work in films such as Raanjhanaa, in which she played an important supporting role. The news of Swara Bhasker’s hospitalisation comes shortly after television actress Avika Gor was also admitted to a hospital after being diagnosed with dengue. Avika Gor, who became a household name through the popular television show Balika Vadhu, reportedly suffered from a high fever for several days before receiving her diagnosis.

Avika’s husband, Milind Chandwani, previously revealed that she had been experiencing a severe fever for around five days before doctors diagnosed her with dengue. Her hospitalisation has once again drawn attention to the seriousness of the mosquito-borne viral infection, particularly during the period when dengue cases can increase significantly.

Dengue is a viral illness transmitted primarily through the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes. Common symptoms can include high fever, headache, body aches, nausea, fatigue and, in some cases, a rash. While many patients recover with proper medical care and monitoring, severe dengue can lead to serious complications, making timely medical attention important.

Swara Bhasker was most recently seen on television in the reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga, where she appeared alongside her husband, Fahad Ahmad. The couple’s appearance on the show attracted attention from viewers, particularly because of their personal chemistry and interactions during the programme.

At present, Swara has not announced her next professional project. The actress has also not provided a detailed update regarding her recovery or confirmed when she may be discharged from the hospital.
